How My SEO is Different

Every business is different, however, most of the digital marketing agencies out there use the a same SEO plan/strategy for all their clients' website and keep their fingers crossed.
I treat my clients differently by reviewing their site beforehand prior to any other SEO activities. In such way, I know what things are most needed for your website, rather than running through all SEO activities that your site may or may not need.

SEO is not just about ticking boxes, but HOW they are ticked. When agencies do SEO for your site, it's most likely a random SEO person from the team will manage your account, no matter how big your spend is. If you are lucky enough, the most experienced one will manage yours but don't forget that you are doing business with an agency, a company, profit of which is all that matters. They don't care losing one or few clients because they are always getting new ones. All these means the quality of the SEO work you receive could be very questionable.
On the other side, your site will be managed by me, who has over 8 years of SEO experience, optimised over 100 websites so far in my career, from small to enterprise level, and had been in leadership roles in the past. No bragging, no oversell
In an agency, you will most likely deal with sales persons who are good at selling you things by bragging and overselling, because, once again, profit is everything for a company. You can hardly hear the true story and know the real potential of your site since the words are not from an SEO person.
I, however, am not only doing the SEO work for your site but also talking to you and answering all your questions from day one. I'm of 100% honesty about how much your site can achieve during the chat before you are onboard without bragging or overselling since I don't want to shoot myself on the foot.
Not just about keywords
Most agencies out there only care about very limited amount of keywords and sell it to you in the form of guarantees, which is completely a hokum. Better rankings of the keywords selected by agencies do not always mean more organic traffic or conversions. There are so many things around keywords can be faked or mis-tracked and that's why proper SEO should never have keywords involved alone.
For me, I always combine keywords with organic traffic and conversions when measuring the success of your SEO campaign. More than that, not only improvement will be reported. First thing first, I'm not cheap.
If you would like to just spend a couple of hundreds per month but expecting thousands or even more in return in a short term, here's not the right place. Go and try cheap agencies or even oversea SEOs and I wish you good luck - spoiler alert - 99% of the time you will be lessoned, and time be wasted. I welcome you back here once you got more budget.
Enough SEO knowledge, but not opinionated
You have decent knowledge of what SEO is and know its importance, however, you also know you need someone more professional to help your SEO further, not because that you "don't have time" to do it by yourself.

Are you charging by the hour or ...?
Not any more. I now charge with monthly retainers, the actual monthly fee will be discussed based on your expectation and the goals you set for the SEO/organic search channel.
Do you do one-off SEO work my site lacks?
No, I don't do whatever you think I should do. Treat me as your business partner, rather than an employee.
How much I should spend on SEO then?
Short answer: The more and the longer you spend, the better.
Long answer: Normally, your SEO budget should be from 30% to 80% of your entire digital marketing budget, varying by industry. The more you spend in SEO every month, the better chance you will have for your site to catch up with top competitors, especially for brand new websites. Do you provide any guarantees?
No, and I truly believe proper SEO providers, no matter it's an agency or an individual SEO expert like me, should not use any guarantees to attract sales, and no one can actually guarantee anything because of the nature of SEO.
